She is a Chartered Professional and Certified Management Accountant, has extensive practical experience in financial and management accounting, and possesses a strong acumen in personnel management, financial systems implementation, tax and annual financial audits, government funding program management and corporate budgeting and forecasting.

She has worked for a varied cross-section of businesses such as the Vancouver Art Gallery, 3D-application technology start-ups, pharmaceutical retail chain, dental healthcare regulatory association, and natural gas energy supply and distribution.
