Special Guests

Bagua Artist Association

Bagua Artist Association is an artist duo — Katharine Meng-Yuan Yi and Sean Cao — based in Vancouver, Canada. Formed in 2018, their multidisciplinary practice draws on their shared experience as first-generation immigrant settlers, exploring popular culture, folk arts, and everyday life through a migratory lens.

Their work centers contemporary Chinese diaspora discourse, reimagining traditions and cultural phenomena through research-based, socially engaged art.
