Gordon Lee retired as Vice President Finance and Administration at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 2014. During his career at Kwantlen, he also served as Acting Provost and Vice President Academic, and Vice President Strategic Services. Prior to that, he was Dean of the School of Business, Department Chair in Marketing and an Instructor in Marketing, Business and Finance.

At Kwantlen he led the institution’s successfully initiative to join Universities Canada, developed a strategic plan that informed the institution’s evolution from community college to university, established Kwantlen’s first international partnerships, and led the development of two of the institution’s first undergraduate degree programs.

Gordon Lee’s community contributions have included service as Chair of Leadership Vancouver, Co-Chair, Honouring our Commitment Campaign for the Diocese of New Westminster, President, Sorrento Centre, and Vice President Surrey Chamber of Commerce.

Gordon has an MRes (University College London), an MBA (Western University), and a BA (University of Toronto). He was born in Gander, NL and grew up in Toronto. He is married and has 2 two grown sons.
