Explore family stories through the world of Asian comics! Join a special guided tour of Asian Comics: Evolution of an Art Form, led by Education and Public Programs Manager Rosalie Gunawan and learn how storytelling and personal expression in comics can connect generations across Asia.
Then, create your own zine-in-a-box inspired by personal stories and shared experiences. Fill it with a comic-style family album featuring drawn portraits of loved ones alongside cherished memories, everyday moments, and stories that capture your family’s life.
To participate, please bring a small box from home to host your zine in! All other craft materials will be provided, while supplies last.
