Our board member Dr. Imogene Lim represents Chinese Canadian Museum as a panelist for Session 6: Chinatown Past, Present and Future on October 23. The session will be anchored on the shared understanding of the past and examine the priorities and commitment required in the context of UNESCO as the strategic aim and the Cultural Heritage Assets Management Plan as the pragmatic roadmap for actions. This conversation also attempts to shed light on the tough compromises and priorities that the community likely needs to consider in order to take realistic, measurable and timely actions.
Convened by City of Vancouver and UBC, this forum aims to bring together diverse people who are passionate about Chinatown and its future and to discuss its role as a local and global cultural heritage district. Please consider joining this important conversation.
