Timothy J. Stanley is an award-winning historian of racism and Chinese Canadian experience. The author of Contesting White Supremacy: School Segregation, Anti-racism and the Making of Chinese Canadians (UBC Press, 2011), his research is informed by over forty years of involvement in antiracism education. He is currently professor emeritus in the Faculty of Education, University of Ottawa, where he is also the former Interim Dean of the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
