Tara Fraser
Tara Fraser is a professional conservator with extensive experience and knowledge in the conservation and preservation of fine art paper, archival material and paper in mixed media fine art. She holds a Master of Art Conservation (abt) from Queen’s University in Kingston, ON and a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons), with a Certificate in Chemistry from University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon. Tara has worked in the conservation labs of the Vancouver Art Gallery, Oxford University (London, UK), Queen’s University (Kingston, ON), the Saskatchewan Archives (Regina, SK) and the Smithsonian Archives (Washington, DC). She co-founded the FSR conservation lab in 1997. Tara is also an adjunct professor in conservation at the University of British Columbia, Master of Archival Sciences program.
