Booking Policy

To ensure a seamless and enjoyable visit, please review our booking policy below:
1. Reservation and Confirmation:
- All private tour bookings must be made in advance through our online booking system.
- Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with details of your private tour.
2. Tour Duration and Timing:
- Private tours are available on specific dates and times, subject to availability.
- Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled tour time to allow for check-in and preparation.
- Tours will commence promptly at the scheduled time, and late arrivals may result in a shortened tour duration.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling:
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled tour time.
- Rescheduling requests can be accommodated based on availability and must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
4. Group Size:
- Private tours are designed for a maximum group size of 15 participants.
- If your group exceeds this limit, please contact us to discuss accommodations.
5. Conduct During the Tour:
- Respectful behavior towards museum staff, fellow visitors, and exhibits is expected.(do we want this on the website?)
6. Payment:
- Private tours during Museum operating hours are available for on-site payment.
- Private tours after Museum operating hours are not eligible for on-site payment.
- An invoice will be sent out within 2 business days after confirming the booking. Invoices may be paid online via credit card or EFT and received a minimum of 2 days prior to your requested private tour date.
7. Accessibility:
- If any members of your group have accessibility requirements, please inform us at the time of booking to ensure appropriate accommodations can be arranged.
8. Weather Conditions:
- Private tours will proceed rain or shine. Please dress accordingly and check the weather forecast before your visit.
9. Contact Information:
Ensure that your contact information is accurate at the time of booking so that we can reach you in case of any changes or updates.

Yes, there is a coat and bag check available for visitors to store their belongings. We do not allow luggage or large bags in our galleries.
Please let us know if your group is going to be late as soon as you can! Call our front desk at 604.262.0990. Please understand that we are unable to extend your booking time to accommodate for lost time due to late arrivals, as this impacts other bookings.
