Uncover the legacies of pioneers, veterans, and advocates who forged a path from exclusion to recognition within our A Soldier for All Seasons and Period Rooms exhibitions. In this program, students will get hands-on experience analyzing primary source documents relating to the Chinese head tax and Exclusion Act to understand past discriminatory policies and immigration history, as well as gain insights into Chinese Canadian identities through place-based learning.
