Program Length: 90 minutes

Program Description: Explore the diversity of what it means to be “Chinese Canadian” with the Reshaping Collections and Period Rooms exhibitions. Step back in time to the Yip family living room and examine what life was like for a Chinese Canadian merchant family in the 1930’s while learning about the makings of Vancouver Chinatown. Analyze contemporary Chinese Canadian art inspired by the Chung Collection and delve into what it means to collect community belongings.
