Christopher Cheung is a Vancouver journalist acclaimed for his unique reporting on urban culture, inequality, and life in the region. He was a staff reporter at the Tyee and was a columnist for Metro and the Vancouver Courier. Among his many honours are two Jack Websters, B.C.’s top journalism awards. He is the author of Under the White Gaze: Solving the Problem of Race and Representation in Canadian Journalism and the forthcoming Very Vancouver, a collection of neighbourhood stories. Cheung holds a Master of Journalism from UBC.
