Since opening our doors in July 2023, the Chinese Canadian Museum has continued to grow alongside the communities we serve.
Over the past three years, we’ve expanded the spaces and stories we share — opening additional galleries, enhancing exhibitions, and introducing new public areas including our education centre, improved lobby, and more accessible facilities. Today, substantially more of the museum is open and available to visitors, offering a deeper and more engaging experience of Chinese Canadian history and culture.
As part of this continued growth, we will be introducing a modest update to our admission pricing beginning June 10, 2026. This is our first adjustment since opening and helps support the care of our building, the development of exhibitions and programs, and the ongoing work of sharing these important stories.
Accessibility remains central to our mission. The BMO Campus Culture Pass will continue to provide $5 annual passes to post-secondary students through June 15, 2027 (barring extension). We are also proud to participate in a range of access programs that offer free or reduced admission to many communities, including newcomers, senior groups, students, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and those working in the cultural and tourism sectors.
For those who visit often, annual passes continue to offer excellent value — just two visits each year, plus a complimentary ticket, cover the cost of a pass. If you’re considering an annual pass, now is a great time to purchase at current rates before the change takes effect.
New pricing effective June 10:
| Single Admission | Annual Pass |
| General (19+): $18 | General: $40 |
| Youth (6 – 18): $12 | Youth: $30 |
| Student: $14 | Student: $30 |
| Senior (65+): $14 | Senior: $30 |
| Children (5 & under): Free | |
| Family: $48 |
In addition, group admission rates of minimum 10 people will continue to be offered at a 20% discount.
We are grateful for your support as we continue to grow and evolve, and we look forward to welcoming you back.
