Justin Poy

Justin Poy is the President and Creative Director of The Justin Poy Agency, an award-winning full service ad agency established in 1993. The Agency has been at the forefront of cross-cultural advertising in Canada and has created some of Canada’s most iconic ad campaigns such as the Canadian International AutoShow and “Everyone Loves Marineland!”. Justin is a Founding Cabinet Member of TIFF Lightbox and Chairs the Toronto International Film Festival’s Chinese Community Outreach, which included the memorable exhibit “One Hundred Years of Chinese Cinema”, “Asia Unbound”, a celebration of Asian Heritage Month in Canada at TIFF during the COVID-19 pandemic and “An Evening with Andy Lau”. 

Justin has worked on many Chinese Canadian community cultural projects and is a Co-Founder of the Toronto Chinese Film Festival and launched the East Coast presentation of  “Eating Bitterness”, a touring national exhibit about the 1923 Chinese Exclusion Act in Canada. He also produced a short documentary under the same name. For his cultural and philanthropic contributions to Canada, Justin has been awarded the Queen’s Golden and Diamond Jubilee Medals and recently received the King Charles III Coronation Medal. Justin is an Executive Producer for Exclusion: Beyond the Silence.
