Young Steinway Artist Herbert Kwan is a Vancouver-based composer, pianist, and music educator recognized for blending classical training with innovative contemporary approaches. His work spans composition, arrangement, and performance, exploring the interplay of harmony, melody, and emotional storytelling across diverse musical genres. Herbert’s artistry bridges cultural traditions, connecting audiences through expressive piano and orchestral music. His published albums—available on all major online streaming platforms—showcase his distinctive musical voice and evolving artistic vision.

In addition to his creative work, Herbert serves as Concert Music Director for Chinese singers Ada Jin, Anson Ping, and Henry Huo. He has also been a judge for the SING! China Canada Finals and was awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal by the Government of Canada (2025) for his contributions to the arts.
