Temporary Exhibitions Open in Victoria Chinatown

On February 17, 2022, Chinese Canadian Museum Society of BC opened a new temporary exhibition gallery at the historic Fan Tan Alley in Victoria Chinatown. 

The virtual opening was attended by Minister Melanie Mark, Minister George Chow, Minister Rob Fleming, Mayor Lisa Helps, Claire Avison, Dan Muzyka (RBCM), Dr. Tzu-I Chung (RBCM), Grace Wong (CCM), and Alan Lowe (VCMS). View the livestream recording 

Two exhibitions were showcased – “First Steps: Chinese Canadian Journeys in Victoria” is produced by Chinese Canadian Museum in cooperation with Victoria Chinatown Museum Society. “Gold Mountain Dream!” is produced by Royal BC Museum in collaboration with Canadian Museum of History.
