Enhance your museum visit with a guided tour

Walk through our exhibitions with a dedicated museum guide and learn about the rich stories behind each display!   

Scheduled public guided tours are included in the cost of admission and offered at select times throughout the week. There is a maximum capacity of 15 people per tour.

Currently, we are not providing private group tour bookings. However, once we are able to do so, we will update on this page and social media.

Full Museum Tour
Length: 45 to 60 mins
Meeting Point: Community Room
Visitors will receive an introduction to all the galleries currently on display, and will learn about the story behind our home inside the oldest heritage structure in Vancouver's Chinatown.

The Paper Trail Exhibition Tour
Length: 30 to 45 mins
Meeting Point: Second floor outside entrance of exhibition
Visitors will receive an in-depth look into The Paper Trail commemorating the 100-year anniversary of the 1923 Chinese Exclusion Act.

Guest curator Catherine Clement walks you through this feature exhibition commemorating the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1923. Spaces are limited. Book your tickets on our website and select the Curator's Tour option under "General Admission w/ Guided Tour (English)."

Wing Sang Building Tour
Tickets: $10 (in addition to admission)
Length: 90 mins
Meeting Point: Lobby
Learn about the rich history of Wing Sang Building and its transformation from 1889 to the present. You will be given exclusive access to additional spaces both inside and outside the building. Book your tickets on our website and select the Wing Sang Building Tour option from your desired tour date.
