Join us for a special evening with acclaimed filmmaker Ann Hui, a leading figure of the Hong Kong New Wave and one of the region’s most celebrated directors, as she reflects on five unforgettable moments from her films.

Spanning more than 40 years of groundbreaking work, this program highlights the artistry, range, and impact of Hui’s cinema — from intimate dramas to timeless romances and historical narratives. In conversation with Hui herself, audiences will gain a rare behind-the-scenes look at her creative process, inspirations, and the stories that have shaped modern Asian cinema.
