Spanning more than 40 years of groundbreaking work, this program highlights the artistry, range, and impact of Hui’s cinema — from intimate dramas to timeless romances and historical narratives. In conversation with Hui herself, audiences will gain a rare behind-the-scenes look at her creative process, inspirations, and the stories that have shaped modern Asian cinema.
