In the formative years of his career, Jacky Lam underwent extensive training with the
\nGuangzhou Cantonese Opera Troupe, where he meticulously honed his proficiency in every
\nfacet of opera performance. This foundational experience set the stage for his artistic journey.
\nDespite relocating to Vancouver, Jacky steadfastly maintained his connection to his artistic
\norigins, a testament to his enduring commitment.<\/p>\n

Vancouver Cantonese Opera took the creative helm, crafting two groundbreaking fusion operas
\nthat played a pivotal role in Jacky\u2019s recent artistic endeavors. On November 5 th , 2022, Jacky
\nassumed the role of the protagonist \u201cWah-Kwan Gwan\u201d in \u201cThe Prop Master\u2019s Dream,\u201d a unique
\nproduction seamlessly blending Cantonese opera influences. Looking ahead, Jacky is poised to
\nplay the lead role of James Wong in the second Cantonese Fusion opera, titled \u201cThe
\nAwakening.\u201d Currently in the artistic development phase in 2024, this production is set to come
\nto life in 2025, further solidifying Jacky\u2019s place in the rich tapestry of Cantonese opera on the
\nglobal stage. As he looks forward, Jacky aspires to elevate his skills and achievements,
