handwash (\u624b\u6d17) is a Vancouver-based Cantonese rapper, producer, and multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges electronic music, Cantonese lyricism, and contemporary storytelling. His recent project Comme des Gar\u00e7ons reflects on masculinity shaped by his Hong Kong upbringing and how those values shift within a new cultural environment in Canada.<\/p>\n

Through music, writing, and performance, handwash explores new ways of expressing Cantonese as a living diasporic language \u2014 expanding its emotional range, rhythm, and transnational possibilities.
